No Longer of its Kind

I am worried.

More than six years ago, I relocated to Europe. I knew it is a better place to live in, in many ways, than Israel, my home country. I also believed Europe would be a better place to live in than the US, mainly because the US started showing signs of rising extremism when Trump took power, and extremism is always the canary in the coal mine.
